Narrative resilience is the institutional capacity to maintain coherence and credibility when subjected to sustained informational pressure. It is broader than counter-disinformation and deeper than communications: it concerns whether an institution's story about itself can survive contested attention, hostile interpretation, and adversarial amplification. This knowledge area examines the monitoring, design, and defense of strategic narratives across diplomatic services. It addresses disinformation as a structural condition rather than a series of incidents, and treats narrative as infrastructure that must be maintained over years.
