What Visual Intelligence examines
Diplomats.Digital uses visual research to examine institutional change across diplomacy, AI, digital government, sovereignty, information environments and geopolitical infrastructure.
Each edition takes one research question, assembles traceable public evidence, and makes one visual argument — so that patterns across ministries, missions and institutions become visible without losing the evidence behind them.
Evidence discipline
Visual Intelligence is built on open-source research with a primary-source preference: claims are traced to the closest authoritative source, and discovery material is never treated as final evidence on its own.
Every edition discloses its methodology, states an explicit evidence cut-off, and keeps the distinction visible between directly evidenced fact, DD classification and DD analytical interpretation. Corrections and new evidence are handled through public version history under a stable canonical URL.
For institutional learning, not ranking
Visual Intelligence compares institutional patterns and evidence. It does not rank ministries, and it does not treat public visibility as capability — or the absence of public evidence as the absence of practice.
This discipline is shared with the DD Country Profiles and set out in the Country Profile Methodology.
